Print up .pdf (in color) flyers of Pixel around your area. Re-post posters that are faded. Feel free to make the poster bigger, make the phone number bigger, or anything that would help.
Spread the word on facebook, twitter, craigslist, etc. Any exposure we can get will help. Repost our video on your facebook page.

If you are driving on Highway 50 between Bridal Veil Falls and Placerville,
keep your eyes open for (sadly) a little white body on the side of the road. We would like to know if he is in heaven.
We would like to be able to hire a pet detective or the calling service but they are expensive. People have suggested these but we cannot afford it at this time. When he comes back we would like to buy him a pet GPS at http://www.spotlightgps.com/spotlight-gps-pet-locator.aspx. As long as we could find a collar/harness that our little houdini can't get out of - this contraption would be a heart saver!
ANY sighting would help. We are discouraged that with all the posters, calls, door knocking, and general effort - only one sighting thus far... and it isn't for SURE Pixel.
Please do not send well meaning messages about mountain lions, satanists that torture dogs, people that eat dogs, or any other doom and gloom "suggestion." My three little girls love their doggie and they will have to live with the cold realities of this world soon enough. Also... those letters are making me cry.
Please do not accuse. Yes - we should design a collar he can't get out of. Yes, everyone should always have a leash on their dog even out in the forest on land while working outside. Believe me - my husband was busted at first. He is microchipped because he continually gets out of collars and harnesses. Blame isn't getting my little guy back. He visits neighbors for bones and someone probably saw him (and he is SUPER friendly) and took him home. We're praying he escapes from them, too (out of the collar) and makes it to a shelter.
